The Diocese of Lismore Catholic Schools Limited is moving towards a recruitment software which will be available at the end of Term 2, 28 June 2021.

If you are looking for casual work please register your interest by applying for either the casual Teacher position or casual General Employee position at that time.
This will allow you to nominate a school in your area and after appropriate employment checks have been completed, your application will be released to the school to be able to view your application.

What is the application process for Diocese of Lismore Catholic Schools?

We invite you to apply for any position currently advertised on the website by clicking on the position title to open the full advertisement and clicking “Apply Now”.

In applying for a position, you will be required to upload the following documentation

Teachers must include:

  1. Resume
  2. Teaching Qualifications (degrees, diplomas or academic transcripts, at least 2 practicum reports for Graduate teachers.), Religious Education Qualifications (if applicable)
  3. Official Employer Statement of Service and must include Commencement date / termination date, Workload, Casual Days per year worked and LWOP taken
  4. NESA Accreditation
  5. Identification documents; including evidence of change of name, including Visa information if required
  6. Other certificates such as anaphylaxis, first aid etc
  7. NSW Working with Children Check for an employee (not volunteer)

General Employees must include:

  1. Resume
  2. Qualifications in specified field if applicable
  3. Certificates such as anaphylaxis, first aid etc, if applicable
  4. NSW Working with Children Check for an employee (not volunteer)
  5. Identification documents; including evidence of change of name including Visa information if required.

As a part of gaining employment successful applicants (including casuals) must complete SALT (Self-Administered Legal Training) compliance training modules on:

  • Child Protection
  • Discrimination Harassment and Bullying
  • Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead

The Child Protection and Discrimination Harassment and Bullying modules are an annual requirement of all employees of the Diocese.

Choice of Superannuation Fund

Should you obtain employment you will be given the choice of superannuation fund within the new starter information form.

Employees wishing to choose their own fund must provide a signed Choice of Fund form and a Compliance Statement from their chosen fund upon acceptance of an offer of employment.

Australian Catholic Superannuation & Retirement Fund (ACSRF) is DLCSL's default fund. Superannuation Guarantee payments will be made on your behalf to ACSRF if you do not choose your own fund. Go to ACSRF website for information about investment choices and options that may be right for you.
