Our schools provide overseas or international students with a world-class standard of education and this opportunity provide our students with an appreciation of the variety of cultures and religions that exist in different societies.
Enquiries relating to the enrolment of Overseas Students should be made to the Enrolment Officer at the relevant primary or secondary school. You can find Catholic schools, their locations and contact details on our Find a School page.
Students who have a Visa subclass 500 who wish to consider enrolling are advised to consider the following information.
The diocese does not enrol students who are under Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare (CAAW) Arrangements and therefore any prospective student must be in the care of their parents or a Department of Home Affairs approved guardian.
Enrolling students are advised to request from the school an Orientation Handbook for Overseas Students.
Any complaints and grievances should be addressed in the first instance with the school principal. If the concern has not been addressed satisfactorily, please contact the Diocese of Lismore Catholic Schools using the contact form.
Overseas students have access to a free and independent external complaint and appeals process provided by the Overseas Students Ombudsman (phone 1300 362 077) or website.
