Family Matters

All aspects of God’s creation have a purpose, and that is to reveal something of God to us. We see His majesty in snow-capped mountain ranges, His peace in the depth of a rainforest, His playfulness in the hummingbirds and the impossibly long-necked giraffes. But it is the particular purpose of families to reveal some of God’s most profound characteristics: love, tenderness, mercy and patience.

Our children benefit from knowing that they are placed in a family for a purpose - in families they can experience His love and learn how to love others. Families are also the place where each of us is formed in our own unique purpose and personhood.
