• Laudato Si' animation for primary school children - Pope Francis has written a letter addressed to every person on the planet asking us all to protect the earth. Here is an animated version for children. 

• A Prayer for the Earth - Text by Pope Francis, from the encyclical, Laudato Si. 

• Primary - Plant a Mary Garden: Create a quiet place for prayer using flowers and herbs related to Marian devotion.

• A Shoe in!  After viewing the supplied resources page, students are asked to complete a counting and graphing activity. Students are then invited to create a shoe from recycled materials as demonstrated by Shirley from Manila, Philippines.

For Laudato Si' Week (16-24 May), Catholics everywhere have been invited by Pope Francis to unite in solidarity for a more just and sustainable future. The idea of 'Integral ecology', from Pope Francis’ landmark encyclical, is explored in the upcoming edition of Australian Catholics.
