8. The Daily Soul
As governments begin to navigate a way out of the COVID restrictions, many will be keen to revisit family, old friends and social patterns. Yet many remain anxious despite the unfolding plan for the reintroduction of schooling in a more routine way. This weekend may be an opportunity to reflect on how we are travelling personally, acknowledging stress, practicing positive thinking, and maintaining gratitude.
Coping with Stress and Anxiety
Everyone reacts differently in stressful situations and it’s completely normal to feel disorientated, stressed or anxious about the unknown. Identifying stress and anxiety is important for finding ways to cope and support others. The team at Mission Australia have identified seven key strategies to help with stress and anxiety.

A free online pilgrimage, sponsored by the Archdiocese of Sydney, has been gaining incredible momentum over the last 5 days with participants in over 40 countries joining the journey of formation and renewal. Once registered, participants receive talks twice a week from an exciting collection of high profile local and international Catholic speakers, priests and prelates.
Join thousands around the globe journeying toward Pentecost and the upper room. Along the way, we will encounter our risen Jesus, just as the disciples did.

Divine Mercy Chaplet
Join Wildfire this week as they pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet with Gen Bryant. Gen is a Melbourne based singer-songwriter of contemporary Christian music. Staff and students from Lismore Diocese would have seen Gen in action at recent Australian Catholic Youth Festivals. We have been looking forward to collaborating with her!
