One way to improve our mental health is to use our energy in a way that adds value to the lives of others. Helping others by seeking opportunities to voice concern about social injustice and taking action to rectify those injustices are mutually beneficial actions; it helps others while improving our own mental wellbeing. With Jesus as our teacher, giving ourselves over to love can be part of the remedy for our own anxiety and fear.
In this short video, Bishop Robert Barron offers an inspirational message of giving yourself over to love after being introduced by his brother at his old high school.
"Make love the center of your life and you’ll know what to do with fame, wealth and power when it comes to you. Give your life radically over to the love that God is, then you’ll find joy."
Bishop Barron

@Home - Prince of Peace - Listening to music is a powerful way to relax and manage stress. A slower tempo song can soothe the stress of the day by quieting your mind and relaxing your muscles. Jesus is often referred to as the Prince of Peace because our relationship with Him stabilises and balances our life while offering us the assurance of eternal life.
