Proclaim Lismore is about living the Gospel and walking with students, so that each student can embrace the Gospel. This project is designed to capture the essence of what a teaching vocation in a Catholic School means to you. As we learned during Proclaim Staff in 2017 and 2019, the critical vocational role of the teacher is to accompany students by being an authentic witness.

Every Child Still Counts

In this week’s video, we go 'back to the future' and are reminded of how incredibly important teachers are, especially in the days of COVID-19. In a world increasingly dominated by screens, human contact is precious. We are invited to reflect on: “Who can provide this irreplaceable time with our students?” Please enjoy!

Building Community

Connection is the most fundamental desire innate in human beings. We long to be a part of a community where we are known, accepted and loved. The COVID pandemic has challenged us to use technology to fulfill our longing for connection and community. As we break open the theme of ‘walking with’ we look to our colleagues who accompany and support us. Below are three ways we can strengthen our connection with our school community:

Let's Get Creative

Last week in The Soul we explored praying with music and art. Participating in the Proclaim Lismore Wildfire lyric video is a great way to get creative and share your gifts. In this video, Rachael Kama outlines how simple and reflective getting creative can be:
