Catholic Schools Office Farewell
Trish Coelho, School Service Consultant, Hastings has announced her resignation from her position at the Catholic Schools Office effective close of business 13 August 2021.
We congratulate Trish on her appointment as Assistant Director in the Maitland Newcastle Diocese. She will commence her new role on Monday, 16 August.
Trish has faithfully served Catholic education in the Diocese of Lismore for over three decades.
We take this opportunity to thank Trish for her unwavering commitment and enthusiasm in supporting staff and enabling opportunities for students to achieve the fullness of life and celebrating her many achievements and contributions to Catholic education in the Diocese of Lismore.
Catholic Schools Office Appointments
Emma Fountain has been appointed to the position of DLCSL Company Secretary and CSO Governance Manager from 26 July 2021. Emma is also currently employed as the Risk Manager with the Catholic Schools Office.
Emma’s previous positions included roles as Strategic Risk and Business Continuity Coordinator, Corporate Lawyer and Governance Officer. Emma has also had experience working with Company Boards.
Troy Baker has been appointed to the temporary position of School Service Consultant, North Clarence from Monday 26 July 2021 and concluding 26 January 2023.
At the conclusion of this temporary appointment Troy will return to his position as Principal at St Francis Xavier Primary School, Woolgoogla.

School Appointment
Amber Biddle has been appointed to the position of Assistant Principal – Mission at Mary Help of Christians Primary School, Sawtell commencing Thursday, 27 January 2022. Amber is currently employed as Leader of Inclusion at Mary Help of Christians Primary School, Sawtell.
We congratulate Amber on her appointment and look forward to her commencement in her new role.
Please note that the face-to-face course work will not happen under the COVID restrictions for presenters and will move to online Zoom presentations. The release time for these days stays in place and the providers will fulfill the program. Participants can work from home under the same study codes.
- The face-to-face intensives at Invercauld House will no longer take place.
- Friday 6 August and Friday 10 September can be used as study days. This will enable you to participate in the compulsory Zoom sessions. The funding code for release is C1FJ. These days cannot be used at other times or dates.

Instructional Leaders in the State Literacy and Numeracy Action Plan Schools and Supplementary Schools are provided with the opportunity to reflect on teaching and learning in Kindergarten - Year 2 and their role as Instructional Leaders.
