THE WAY (Term 1 Week 9 - 22 March 2021)
Building momentum from the STEM strategy (2017-2019), a STEM guiding statement has been produced to provide a foundational guide for school communities, teachers and school leaders to design, evaluate and sustain practices that promote STEM.
STEM plays a pivotal role in providing students with connections to contemporary career pathways and in developing 21st Century skills including critical and creative thinking skills, problem solving capabilities and the effective application of digital technologies. Learn more here.
The six guiding principles are the foundations of quality STEM. They are designed to work in synergy across the STEM key learning areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Click here to view the statement and guidance on building a STEM culture.
