The 2021 AEDC National Conference, Trends in Child Development – The Future of Australia, is taking place on 15 – 19 March 2021.
The conference will be held virtually and registration is now open. Please register here.
The conference will focus on reflecting on what we have learned from four AEDC national collections and how those lessons can shape our responses to current challenges.
To enable us to connect at this critical time the conference will be held virtually, with opportunities to meet, communicate, learn, and engage with a diverse audience from a range of professional backgrounds.
The 2021 AEDC National Conference invites us to think about what is driving trends, what we have learned from interrogating the data, and how the data has shaped what we do to ensure all children in Australia have opportunities to grow, learn and thrive.
To find out more about the conference, visit aedcconference.com.au.
For further support, please contact Christy Ismay (Education Officer, Primary).
The relationship between teachers, students and their families is a critical component of a successful schooling experience for all. The start of a new school year provides an excellent opportunity to begin developing strong family school partnerships. Early communication from teachers to parents has been recognised as an important strategy in forming good relationships and has also been shown to help teachers navigate difficult issues with students and families more successfully throughout the year. To find out more go to the Communicating Dimension on the Family School & Community Partnerships domain on the intranet.
