Reminder - Green Innovation Awards Registration
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair.
(2 Corinthians 4:8)
There is a story about legendary boxer Joe Louis, who in a fight against Tony Galento was knocked down with an unexpected left hook. Before the referee started his ten count Louis was back on his feet. Louis’ trainer was furious and said, ‘I keep teaching you to take a count when you’re knocked down. Now why didn’t you stay down for nine like I’ve always taught you?’ Louis angrily responded, ‘What… and let him get all the rest?’
COVID-19 has certainly presented us with new challenges this term. But like Joe Louis we have all managed to bounce back and continue the provision of supportive and safe learning environments for the students in our care.
As we close out Term 2, I want to express my gratitude to you all for the way in which you have continued to focus on the learning and wellbeing of students and the health and safety of the community at large in these uncertain times. I wish you all a restful and safe break.
